If there’s anything I’ve learned in the past, it’s that concert tickets are worth purchasing. Many people think spending a lot of money just to watch someone sing isn’t worth the hype, but who says the tickets have to be expensive? Just hearing my favorite song or artist live is a great feeling. Whether I’m in front of the stage, or in the very back of the concert, just being there takes you to another experience.

In April, my friend and I went to a Luke Bryan concert. We both love country music, and Luke Bryan is up there for one of the top country singers. When we heard he was coming to the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, we knew we had to go see him. I mean, just knowing that Luke Bryan was in the same state as us was already hard to take in. For him to just be an hour away from Harrisonburg was a sign that we needed to buy tickets to his concert. He was on his Kill The Lights tour and I had known most of his songs. My friend and I wanted to be really close to him, so we knew we had to pay a lot for our tickets. We got floor tickets, which meant we were right in front of the stage. The tickets were expensive, but they were worth it. We were a couple of feet away from the one and only Luke Bryan. We spent so much on those tickets because we wanted to be close to this amazing country singer. I always remember that if you love something or someone enough, do what you have to do to get it. Besides, not only were we just seeing him, but Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town were opening up for him. We had a great concert experience with Dustin Lynch waving at us and Luke Bryan telling us to call him in the middle of his song “Crash My Party.”

In the end, it’s not all about being close to the stage at a concert. It’s about just being there in person and seeing everything live in front of you. You get to experience everything there. Sing along with them, dance, and just have a good time. No matter how cheap or expensive your concert tickets are, they’re definitely worth purchasing. I think that any seat in the house is the best seat because just being there in the same building as the singer is enough for me.
