Oban (Garrett’s dog) adorably nibbles on a chew toy, something a cat would never do, for they would only tear it apart

1: They actually love you

A dog will come running up to you at the end of a long day and lick you with gusto just because they missed you so much. A cat lifts its eyebrow at you and hisses.

2: They don’t have the eyes of Satan

A dog looks into your heart to meet your need for affection. A cat stares into your soul.

3: They love to play

Dogs love to play catch and to go on walks, while if you try to take a sock away from a cat, you get your eyes scratched out.

4: They’re grateful for food

As soon as a dog hears the sound of its food bowl being moved, it runs after you and whimpers until you give it food. A cat will stare at you and eat whenever it suits its fancy.

5: They sniff your butt

This is the ultimate show of affection. A dog takes time out of its day just to make sure your scent is okay. But where’s the cat? Oh, right, it’s chewing on a mouse on your front doorstep.

6: They’re therapeutic

Ever heard of a therapy cat?

7: Every dog is a lap dog

Whether you want the love and warmth and affection or not, they lay on you. They just love you so much that they have to be near you at all times. Cats will occasionally paw at you when they want food.

8: They’re so excited all the time

Dogs get so excited that they pee the floor, whereas cats will occasionally lift an ear to a commotion.

9: They’re man’s best friend

And woman and child and boy and girl. Dogs love all people.

10: And most importantly, they don’t show you their anus

Dogs usually have fur that covers their butts, and if they don’t, they’re very discreet about where they put that thing. But not cats. When a cat passes by, it bares its anus in its full glory like a coat of arms.
