Streaks pitch back-to-back no-hitters

On Saturday, May 7, the varsity baseball team had a doubleheader against Robert E. Lee and Broadway. In the first game, junior Malachi Simmons threw a no-hitter, and the Streaks won 15-0. In the second game, junior Cade Templeton started and pitched until he loaded the bases with three walks in the seventh inning. Sophomore Kevin Navedo came in and hit the first two batters he faced, tying the game 3-3. He got the final out, and then the Streaks were up to bat. They quickly loaded the bases. Then junior walked home the winning run. Harrisonburg took home the victory 4-3. Templeton and Navedo combined for another no-hitter.
