Eating at home more personal than eating out

You come home from a long day at school, put down your backpack, lay on the couch, maybe do some homework, and the last thing you want to do is go out to a restaurant and spend 30 to 50 dollars on a mediocre meal for your family of four.

The more favorable scenario, at least for me, is to smell chili in the Crock-Pot and see cornbread in the oven. The great thing about cooking at home is that normally, one meal can feed a family, and there will still be extra food for a midnight snack or leftovers it also costs at least 10 dollars less than the normal meal prepared by your local Panera. Now, I do love some clam chowder and bread from Panera you can make some clam chowder or buy it from the store, get some bread from the local bakery, and you’re set to enjoy at home!

While there may be a little preparation needed, being able to watch a movie while in your sweatpants seems much more favorable to me than having to look (generally) nice to go out and eat a hamburger. I know, some people’s moms don’t cook very well, but go out and buy a pizza and get some wings, and you’re set. So, when you’re out and about having lukewarm chicken nuggets just know that next time you don’t need to suffer. Just spend a few more minutes in the kitchen, and you’re set to have an excellent meal for the whole family.
